Sobre los orígenes. Peronismo y tradición en la revista El Descamisado (1973-1974)

Abstract
Based on the relevance of the institution and the recollection of the foundational instance for the sustenance of all identity, the present work will study Montoneros’ largest-circulation magazine, named El Descamisado. In times where the guerrilla group extended their networks to various circuits of militancy and was part of the government of the Frente Justicialista de Liberación Nacional (FREJULI), 47 editions of this publication were published from May 1973 until April 1974. How is the origin of the Montoneros represented in the pages of the weekly? To answer this question, we look into the manner in which the magazine El Descamisado articulated a story about the previous years and placed the irruption of Montoneros. As we shall see, the significance of the peronist experience will be fundamental. We will justify our inquiry in the arguments of some authors of political thought about the importance of the origin in the preservation of spaces of belonging. And, finally, we will suggest the link that could be established between the construction of the past, on the one hand, and the progressive wear of the organization and its isolation in relation to the remaining players of Argentina’s politics, on the other
