Abstract
The passing of a Police Penal Code was an important part of a Peronist strategy for controlling police forces throughout Argentina. This special justice -parallel to the ordinary one- took care of all penal cases involving law enforcement agents. This article analyzes that extraordinary experience. Then, this piece studies the concrete application of the Police Penal Code in the Buenos Aires province, including the cases, proceedings, sentences as well as the political scope of this justice by and for policemen
