Abstract

The historical period that goes from middle fifties to middle seventies, represents one of more important moments open class struggle in Argentina. A process that was accompanied by the emergency of several revolutionary organizations with new features in relation to traditional representatives from the Left. Within the so-called Peronist Left, the majoritarian presence of Montoneros obscured the action of other organizations, among others Fuerzas Armadas Peronistas- Peronismo de Base. This paper will approach issues related to: 1) its political and ideological evolution; 2) the relationship among political struggle-union struggle-armed struggle; 3) its particular organizational form; 4) how the combination between Peronism and Marxism was sorted out; 5) its links with the working class. The Latter will be the axis upon which the other issues will more around, given the strategic target out lined along their political development: from the return of Perón to the creation of working class power.
